Review: Before Dawn by Ann Bruce

"Don’t let another day pass before reading Before Dawn."

Event organizer Mercy Jansen has been haunted by disturbing, yet highly erotic, nightmares about a vampire. When her nightmares turn into reality and she is actually bitten by the “dream” vampire, her life is saved by a stranger, Ryan McGinnis. But Ryan isn’t all that he appears to be. Ryan is a vampire hunter and he has been watching Mercy for three months. Mercy soon discovers that she is the bait used to capture the vampire stalking her; will she survive the night?

Before Dawn is a suspenseful romance, complete with a dark, brooding hero and a heroine who finds the will to fight even when her world is turned upside down. Ryan is my kind of hero and I was rooting for him as he faced multiple challenges. But Mercy more than held her own against Ryan and the bad guy. Even as she dealt with a psychotic vampire, Mercy refused to succumb to the terror that threaten to consume her. Don’t let another day pass before reading Before Dawn.
