Dr. Trisha Norbit can’t forget the first time she came into contact with Slade, the sight of him recovering  from surgery left her curious about the new species who had been wounded.  The last thing Trisha was expecting is to find herself underneath him and being told all the sinful things he planned to do to her, until security rescues her and puts him back to sleep.  A year later Trisha is a bit hurt that the man who has haunted her dreams doesn’t seem to remember her at all.

Slade doesn’t know what it is about the Doctor, but he can’t get her out of his mind.  When they get called to attend an important meeting, neither one of them are expecting to be ambushed leaving them in the wilderness throwing Slade’s protective instincts into full throttle when it comes to Trisha, after all she is his, she just doesn’t know it yet.

Intense, intoxicating, and an outright page turner.  I absolutely loved Slade, he is cocky, seductive, and bad boy all wrapped into one.  Trisha is the perfect fit for him and confuses him often, but as much as she can match wits with Slade he seems to be able to find ways to distract her into a more pleasurable way of  spending time together.  Best sequel I have read in a long time.
