Review: Changing Times by Marilu Mann

Dr Carly Chambers works at the Charity Hospital in New Orleans. Leaving late one night, she is abducted and brought to a house to treat a gunshot victim. She realizes he is not a normal patient when it appears as if his body is trying to expel the silver bullet. Following up with Tony Pantera the next day finds a man almost healed and Carly wants to know more. Attracted, Carly would not mind getting to know Tony better but it could cost more than just her heart, as she becomes a pawn in the war brewing between Tony and his friends and a group called Turn Skins. Tony does not usually get involved with human women. He did once before and her death resulted. Unable to help himself, he and Carly become closer but Tony is determined nothing will ever happen to her.

Changing Times is pretty violent at times but it is necessary to the plot. Tony and his friends were in a power struggle with Turn Skins, who wanted to let the world know of shifters and rule using fear. Tony and Carly could not help themselves. The sexual tension between them grew until they came together beautifully. An excellent tale of good vs. evil where power corrupted the evil Turn Skins combines with an undeniable love to produce Changing Times, an excellent start of a new series for Marilu Mann
