Byron Jones is new to his job as a legal counselor and knows he must hide his true self.  That does not stop him from lusting after his very sexy boss, Lord Richard Kincaid, who is also the Queen’s favored barrister.  Not sure how to precede, Byron has a little help from two old codgers who come up with a scheme guaranteed to wig-out Richard and the ton.

Behind the Beard is a delightful tale of trickery during the time of the ton when homosexuality was not tolerated.  It was flourishing underground but Byron wanted his man in public.  Their remedy makes for enchanting reading.  There is a whole cast of characters introduced to us that are just incredible.  In such a short story, we meet and grow to love so many different individuals from old geezers to a mischievous young lady to precocious young tots, not to mention some sexy men.  Pick up Behind the Beard and be prepared to be delighted by the words and talent of Yeva Wiest.
