Review: Everlasting Bad Boys by Shelly Laurenston, Cynthia Eden and Noelle Mack

"EVERLASTING BAD BOYS is emotionally heartwarming and sensually gratifying with a perfect touch of humor thrown in as an added bonus."

Enchantingly mesmeric with mystical elements and overflowing with passion, EVERLASTING BAD BOYS is a rewarding paranormal book. The talented writing skills of Shelly Laurenston, Cynthia Eden and Noelle Mack shine all through this book, as intriguing situations lead to discovering love when least expected. With a dragon, a demon and a most electrifying man as heroes, the spirited heroines find themselves being paired with men who can satisfy their every desire with never-ending fulfillment.

“Can’t Get Enough” by Shelly Laurenston

When Ailean happens upon Shalin by chance, he realizes the spark which ignited between them once before has not diminished. As a Battle Dragon, the powerful male has a formidable reputation inspiring both fear and wonder, and he does not answer to anyone nor want a steady relationship. However, there is just something about the dragoness who is called The Innocent which draws him to her, and he vows to become much closer to this remarkable woman. Although Shalin has fantasized about the dragon who is a most gorgeous man when he shifts, she knows it is risky for them to even be talking to each other. When her fears become reality and threats occur, Ailean and Shalin must confront confused emotions and then decide what they actually want in life.

The unique personalities of the featured characters in this story are cleverly revealed through delightful dialogue and interesting actions. Shelly Laurenston knows how to create gripping plots where the hero and heroine are thoroughly appealing, and Ailean and Shalin capture the reader from the moment they are met. With their distinctive temperaments and viewpoints being clearly shown, the personal story of this couple is compellingly told with plenty of humor and even some poignant scenes. When it comes to dragon stories, Ms. Laurenston is a master and the situations cropping up all through this tale are magically believable. “Can’t Get Enough” makes the reader want to accept the possibility of these magnificent creatures actually living amongst us, as entertainment and reality collide. www.shellylaurenston.com/

“Spellbound” by Cynthia Eden

Although the other witches in her coven think she should never consider using the help of a soul-hunter demon, Serena Tyme believes this is her only course of action to halt the warlock who is binding everyone in her group and making them vulnerable without their powers. When her summons brings Luis D’Amil to her, she explains the situation to the commanding demon and offers to do whatever he wishes if he will just help in their desperate quest to stop the one who will eventually kill them. Luis has a curious reaction to the hopeful witch, as it is more sexual than his typical yearning to bring death to those deserving the ultimate punishment. Feeling she is being honest with him, the demon agrees to hunt the one responsible for binding all those in her coven, but the price will be paid by only her as he secretly desires everything about her. Serena was raised to fear those with such superior powers as possessed by Luis, yet he wants her to be totally willing when it comes time to repay him for his services.

Mesmerizing from the first scene, this story only becomes more fascinating with every turn of the page. Cynthia Eden superbly sets up the circumstances facing Serena, and then innovatively takes readers through spellbinding situations until the heart-pounding conclusion is revealed. Ms. Eden has a gift for portraying genuine character reactions, where each detail is effectively depicted with realism. The lives of Luis and Serena are filled with fervent passions plus suspenseful danger, and their world of demons and witches seems chillingly real as each new situation arises. The unanticipated feelings between this couple is touchingly portrayed with sincerity and candor, and the fiery heat shared by them is shown through blazing intimacy. Every enthralling moment of “Spellbound” brings satisfaction to readers who will be captivated by this noteworthy story. www.cynthiaeden.com/

“Turn Me On” by Noelle Mack

After the company for which graphic designer Beth Danforth did its advertising closed its doors, she had to start looking for another place to work in order to pay her bills. Even though she had placed her resume numerous places, only SpectraSign requested she come in for an interview and she hopes her previous work will persuade the owner of this company to hire her. When the interview goes well and she accepts the job, Beth gets to apply her fresh approach to the company’s new advertising campaign. The next morning, a secret about Justin is exposed, and Beth must decide if this energetic man is right for her when she realizes his body is in reality composed of light.

With the clever word-play of referring to lighting factors, there is much subtle humor to be found throughout the story. The characters of Justin and Beth are charmingly dynamic, and frequently their scenes together are portrayed with jesting and engaging banter.
