Review: Daffodil by Anny Cook

"A fantasy world that draws readers in and gives them a fantasy story they weren’t expecting."

Daffodil knows that she is being sent to Came-a-lot to find a husband, as her father has decreed but what will become of her beloved Raulf, the man who knows her body intimately and gives her what she craves. What Daffodil doesn’t know is that her sisters have made sure that Raulf will follow her. But what fate awaits Daffodil and the man she loves?

An adventurous and sensually appealing book, Daffodil by Anny Cook will leave a reader with a smile on their face as well as hot and bothered. I really enjoyed reading this book because the characters were different, especially Daffodil, who comes across as soft and tender yet there is an underlying strength to her, one she plays to the hilt. And Raulf, well there is a man who will do anything to get what he wants, and that includes Daffodil. I have enjoyed all of the Flowers of Camelot series but I have to say that this book more than lived up to expectations and I enjoyed it from start to finish. Ms. Cook has penned a fantastic series of books filled with characters that have more hidden depths than you know of and a fantasy world that draws readers in and gives them a fantasy story they weren’t expecting.
