A special future awaits Terran Cynthia Norman, only it takes place a thousand years in the past. Old journals reveal that Cynthia travels back in time to persuade specific male Drai to hibernate for a thousand years on planets far from home until their mates are born. Their home world refuses to permit contact with outside races, so the Drai world is dying because mates born on other worlds are never found. She will either spend the rest of her life in prison or be put to death. A surprising source saves Cynthia’s life, making it possible for her to have a future with Garo. Garo sees visions of Cynthia encouraging some of the Drai to go leave the planet. He does not trust her, but Garo cannot deny his craving for Cynthia. How will Garo react when he learns that Cynthia claims to be from the future?

Viola Grace tackles a story that explains how the Drai became sleepers, buried deep beneath many different planets until a mate can be found. Before she travels back in time, Cynthia meets one of her great granddaughters and it reinforces the fact that what she is about to do is very important to the future of the Alliance. Cynthia’s DNA contains the seeds of many of the talents that her children will inherit. Garo’s insecurities almost put an end to the many generations of children that their union will produce. Ms. Grace weaves a beautiful love story with some interesting surprises that the reader will thoroughly enjoy. Will Garo accept his future as the father of a new race of hybrid Drai?
