Local woman have been disappearing and Police Officer Danielle believes she knows who is responsible. She decides to do some investigating on her own. While driving her cruiser to the home of the suspect, someone drops out of the sky and lands on her windshield. Danielle grabs her first-aid kit and rushes to see if she can help the injured man. She discovers an armed black and green alien. Danielle attempts to take him in for questioning. He escapes and takes off running and Danielle follows. In the end, instead of a perp in handcuffs Danielle finds herself on a bed of pine needles being ravished by the alien. He seems to know exactly what she wants in a lover. Are the aliens responsible for the disappearing women Danielle is investigating?

Warrior Krol Nowak is on Earth to abduct Danielle. His planet is dying and human females are needed to repopulate his world. When Danielle fights him, Krol is thrilled. She is a warrior like him. To Krol, rough sex is the way to court a female. After chasing each other around the forest and fighting for dominance, Krol strips Danielle and they cannot keep their hands off each other. Krol needs to find a way to convince Danielle to return to his planet with him. Will Danielle agree to board Krol’s spaceship and leave everyone she knows on Earth behind?

Cynthia Sax introduces the reader to a strong woman with a painful past. Her mother was a great warrior who died while fighting for her country. All Danielle has left are her mother’s dog tags. Danielle dreams of being like her mother. Meeting Krol who treats her as a warrior is liberating for Danielle. With subtle humor Ms. Sax allows Danielle to bloom with Krol’s help. Only another warrior could be the mate of the best warrior on his planet, and Danielle is exactly who Krol is looking for. Can Danielle learn to love an alien?
