Two men love Caylith.  Liam O’Neill, the son of the King of Éire, and Kevan, a prince the Fairy kingdom.  Caylith cannot decide which man to marry.  Kevan agrees to wait a year for her to select her mate.  Liam rejects Caylith when his cousin claims that he slept with her.  He finds out too late that his cousin lied.  Caylith makes a promise to Father Patrick to remain chaste until her wedding.  Liam re-enters Caylith’s life and she finds it hard to keep her vow of chastity.  A villain from her past forces Caylith and her people to defend their new homes in Éire.  Caylith, a trained warrior, must rescue the man she loves from the clutches of her enemy.  Will Caylith and her band of refugees be able to conquer the man who wants to see her dead?

Liam O’Neill loves Caylith but fears that he lost her when he did not believe her when she said she did not sleep with his cousin.  Liam is a passenger on the same boat bringing Caylith home to Éire.  He plans to win back Caylith’s love.  They do not speak the same language, but some things need no translation.  Liam finds it hard to honor Caylith’s vow of chastity.  When he learns that he can kiss the woman he loves, Liam shows Caylith his love by kissing every part of her body.  Liam can wait for their wedding to make love to Caylith, but it gets harder each day.  An old enemy wants to destroy Caylith’s community.  Liam becomes his prisoner.  He plans to use Liam to force the King, his father, to give him back the land that Caylith now owns.  Will Caylith’s community band together to rescue Liam?
