Review: WTF Dragon 1: No Dragon, No Problem by Dawn Montgomery

"With a generous helping of laughs, Ms. Montgomery unfolds a story that illustrates the power of love over evil."

What is a Princess to do?  When her stepmother, the Queen of Werthing Ton Fallorian (WTF for short) springs a surprise wedding on Princess Tasminia deSoto, she has only one choice:  she runs away.  Tasminia refuses to be bound to a man she hates.  Tasminia’s late mother once showed her a magic mirror that opens a hidden part of the castle.  When she enters the secret passage, Tasminia finds a room she had not seen before.  Inside the room is a prisoner, a handsome naked man in chains.  He offers to help her escape her marriage if she frees him.  Tasminia releases him from his chains.  Is the handsome stranger the answer to Tasminia’s prayers?

Dash Ryan has been trapped in the chamber for many years.  He cannot believe his good luck when Princess Tasminia enters his room and agrees to free him.  Dash knows Baron Winterwood and he is not what he appears to be.  It is up to Dash to protect the Princess.  Dash cannot resist the charms of the beautiful Princess.  He happily introduces her to the joys of sex.  Dash comes up with an idea to prevent her wedding to Baron Winterwood:  a dragon demanding a sacrifice.  Of course that sacrifice would be Tasminia.  Dash has a few tricks up his sleeve that he does not share with Tasminia.  Can he protect her from the marriage from hell?

In the first book of the WTF Dragon series, Dawn Montgomery introduces the reader to the magical inhabitants of Werthing Ton Fallorian.  A battle between good and evil is about to take place and the sleeping dragons of WTF are waking up.  Dash and Tasminia fall in love, but nothing is as it appears.  With a generous helping of laughs, Ms. Montgomery unfolds a story that illustrates the power of love over evil.  Can a Princess and a Dragon find happiness?
