Review: Enemy Mine by Aline Hunter

"Two people who would ordinarily be enemies find themselves becoming mates."

Once Emory Veznor found his mate, he knew he would have a tough road ahead of him.  The innocent Mary Shepherd not only feared his kind she also was related to the Shepherds, a group bent on destroying every last shifter.  Not surprised that Mary ran when she figured out what he was, Emory has spent the last several months trying to find her.

Mary knew the moment she left Emory she made a mistake, on the run and doing the best to survive she is relieved yet scarred when Emory finds her.  It is not that she is afraid of Emory, it is she is afraid of what her family will do to get her back.  Two people who would ordinarily be enemies find themselves becoming mates.

Number two in the Alpha and Omega series, this is a fantastic story.   I was on the edge of my seat trying to figure out what was going to happen between Mary and Emory.  Mary has a difficult time coming to terms about what she means to Emory, but although he is an alpha he is so tender with her and as a reader you melt.  Can’t wait for the next one.
