Professor Starla Black is on a mission to save the people of Lokan from the deadly Balazoids.  The Balazoids can control the minds of the population so no one puts up any resistance when attacked.  Starla carries vials of medication for the population of Lokan that will prevent this from happening.  Her contact on the planet sent her Chrome, her android, who does more than just protect her.  He also satisfies her sexual needs.  Chrome is the image of the man who will become her mate…if he can win the mating challenge of the other males on the planet.  Will Starla become the property of a stranger?

Bocc is an outcast.  His love of technology keeps him apart from Lokan society.  Bocc is also a Federation agent.  In exchange for his cooperation, the Federation promised him Starla.  To keep her safe until she can join him on Lokan, Bocc creates an android in his own image.  He programs Chrome to satisfy Starla and keep all males away from her.  Starla is everything he dreamed she would be.  He never expects Chrome to protect her from all males…including HIM!  Bocc wins Starla as his mate by fighting all the other single males who want her.  Together, Starla and Bocc try to administer the medication to the warriors of Lokan, but many of them do not trust Bocc.  Will enough men receive the drug before the Balazoids attack their planet?

Cynthia Sax returns to the war against the Balazoids with another tale of three loves: a man, a woman and an android.  Even during the serious battle sequences that occur between the Balazoids and the Lokans, Ms. Sax manages to spice it up with humor.  Starla wants a strong male as her mate and Bocc fills the bill with more than enough dominance to keep her happy.  Starla may be a Professor, but she enjoys embracing her feminine side.  Will the Lokans win their war with the Balazoids?
