Tor is the oldest warrior of Anubis.  He is the physical hand of justice for evil humans.  Tor accepts his solitary life, using women to sate his lust but never allowing them to get too close.  When Tor saves the life of a beautiful woman in a parking lot in Las Vegas, he finds himself instantly drawn to her.  Tor never felt such a strong feeling for a woman before.  He does not want to wipe her memory clean so she does not remember her attack or rescue, but knows he must.  Tor cannot stay away from her.  He learns where she works.  When he is not hot on the trail of evil, he spends his time with her.  Anubis warns Tor to be honest with her and about who he really is.  Tor fears that once she learns that he transforms into a beast when he hunts evil she will run from him in fear.  Will Tor tell the woman the truth?

Kenna works at a hotel reception desk.  Each night when she goes to the hotel parking lot to get into her car she experiences a fear that is almost paralyzing.  She cannot understand her feelings.  Nothing ever happened to her in the parking lot…or did it?  Kenna meets a handsome stranger who comes to her rescue when one of the guests is verbally abusive to her.  He is the physical embodiment of her ideal man.  When Tor asks her out, she agrees happily.  Kenna cannot dispel the felling that she knows him.  Tor and Kenna become lovers.  A demon invades Tor’s mind and forces him to mate with Kenna by biting her and taking her blood.  His bite changes Kenna.  How will Kenna react when she learns the truth about Tor?

In the second book of the Warrior Hungers series, Marisa Chenery introduces the first of the warriors created by the god Anubis.  For thousands of years he delivers evil men and women to Anubis for punishment.  Tor is content, but lonely.  Kenna is the woman Tor needs to complete him.  Demons threaten Anubis’ warriors.  The demon knows that Kenna is Tor’s weakness.  Ms. Chenery presents a book with lots of action and sex hot enough to send the reader for a cold shower to cool off.  Can Tor destroy the demon that targets him and still protect the woman he loves?
