Review: Highland Pawn by Evie MacKenzie

"Highland warrior Alexander MacKay has never found himself so perplexed by a female except when it comes to Maggie Fraser."

Highland warrior Alexander MacKay has never found himself so perplexed by a female except when it comes to Maggie Fraser.  Maggie has a way of bringing out the worst in him and her obvious disdain for him only wants him to uncover the real reasons why.  When Maggie needs rescued from kidnappers, Alex finds himself protecting her but it is not with it’s own variety of new troubles.  Maggie wants to know the art of pleasing  a man without losing her virginity, since Alex is there he might as well teach her.  There are a few issues with her lessons though, Alex wants to unveil who she is saving herself for and when he does it happens to be the one enemy he has vowed his vengeance against, not to mention he is falling for the little sprite of a woman and doesn’t want to share her.

Entertaining story, Maggie is a handful and Alex has the talent of making her forget why she dislikes him so.  Passionately written, Highland Pawn is a wild adventure in seduction as Alex educates Maggie of the more sensual side of love making as both fight with their new found feelings for one another.  Thoroughly entertaining.
